Demonstrated Leak Detection Investigation in Bandung

In April 2025, the Suido Technical Service Co. conducted a demonstration of leak detection investigation in an area under the jurisdiction of the PERUMDA Tirtawening Kota Bandung.
 

In a five-day investigation of the approximately 9-kilometer extension of the water pipe, 11 leaks were identified, including small leaks.

During the investigation, a brief training session was also provided for PERUMDA staffs.

Since the detection of leaks leads to reduce non-revenue water (NRW) and improve water management, PERUMDA has reaffirmed its importance and has considered conducting continuous leak investigations and staff training.
